A Sleeping Beauty Summer Ballet Intensive 2025!
If you are a dancer ages 10-15 years old and absolutely love ballet – this is for you!
Dance Matters NYC’s 2 week Summer Intensive offers an incredible opportunity to train and perform this summer.
This year’s summer repertoire will be the beautiful production of Sleeping Beauty and all our students will be able to participate in a special outdoor performance at Sunnyside Gardens Park!
Full day programming Monday – Friday, 9am – 4:30pm
Two Weeks:
July 7-11 & July 14-18
Performance Friday, July 18 time TBD
Daily Schedule:
Monday – Friday 9AM – 4:30PM
- 9:15am -10:15am – Pilates
- 10:15am – 11:15am – Choreography Workshop
- 11:30am – 1pm – Technique Class
- 1pm – 2pm – Lunch
- 2 – 3pm – Dance History
- 3 – 4:30pm – Repertoire
Tuition: $1,250
Tuition includes:
- 60 hours of dance (value of over $1600!)
- Small class sizes
- One-on-one attention to advance ballet technique
- Performance Participation
- Dance Intensive T-Shirt
Payment:
- 25% of tuition is due at sign-up.
- Payment Plan will then be established with the office manager.
- If no payment plan is established, the balance will be processed on July 1.

Audition:
Registration is now open. Dancers who are not current students at Dance Matters who are interested in participating must have at least 3 years of ballet training and must submit a one minute audition video in the style that best suits them showing their level of training.

Summer Jazz Week 2025!
Don’t miss the chance to train and perform this summer!
If you are a rising Level 4 and up dancer and absolutely love Jazz this intensive is for you! Dancers will learn A Chorus Line repertory and have a small performance the last day of the intensive!
Ages 10.5 – 13
- 1 week program: August 18th – August 22nd
- Full day programming
Monday – Friday: 9am – 4:30pm - Join Ms Lee Katherine Fink and Mr Joseph Harrington for a week of classes including: fitness, leaps, jumps, and turns, dance history, Jazz technique class, and Jazz repertory!
Summer Masterclasses 2025!
Dancers 12+ have the opportunity to take an array of amazing master classes with incredible industry professionals! Skill up before the new year starts and take your dancing to the next level!
Monday, August 25: Hip-Hop with Ms Marisa Fernandez
Tuesday, August 26: Tap with Mr Joseph Harrington
Wednesday, August 27: Jazz with Ms Marisa Fernandez
Thursday, August 28: Contemporary with Ms Lysa Douglas
